Master's degree or equivalent in any branch of Science such as Life Sciences / Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics / Statistics / Computer applications / Pharmacy / Veterinary Science / M.Sc. Degree in Psychology from a recognized Institute / University. You are also eligible if you have completed a minimum of a four-year course leading to Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering / Technology / Medicine from a recognized Institute / University.
Candidates appearing for the final year of the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply.
At least 60% marks or an equivalent grade or grade point average in higher secondary (10+2) examination, and at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade or grade point average in from Bachelors and onwards is required. 5% relaxation in aggregate scores in Bachelors and Masters will be applicable for candidates from reserved categories (SC/ST/PH). Rounding of percentage score to next integral value is not permitted.

Foreign nationals seeking admission to iBRIC NBRC must fulfil all the eligibility requirements for Ph.D./M.Sc. described above. In addition, they must satisfy all the conditions as per rules of Govt. of India.
