Statistical analysis and data visualization are the two crucial facets that form any research study. In research oriented disciplines, data forms an integral component hence, a well-informed coherent way needs to be considered to test any hypothesis and to arrive at conclusions about the scientific procedure. Any clinical oriented research studies comprises of various study design such as cross-sectional, cohort or longitudinal, case control studies as well as randomised or non-randomised control trials. Researchers have frequently acknowledged the difficulty in identifying the appropriate statistical test or method associated with these studies as a compelling obstacle. The obstacle lies in the fact that they do not consider essential factors into account, such as testing of assumptions prior to statistical analysis, that help to identify the appropriate statistical method to answer any research question.
